Chiropractors aim to improve the function of your muscles and joints. Here are three good tips to help you help yourself.

  • If you are going to do something vigorous like housework or gardening, stretch gently before and after to reduce strain on your muscles.
  • Change your activity every 15-20 minutes. This balances the use of your different muscle groups.
  • If your health permits, take a brisk 15-20 minute walk every day. This improves posture, strengthens muscles and helps concentration.
