“A stress-buster for your eyes – this technique is called Palming and you can revitalise your eyes in seconds. Sit comfortably at a table, or somewhere you can lean on your elbows. Rub your palms together for a few seconds until they feel warm.
“Cover your closed eyes with your hands in such a way that there is no pressure on your eyeballs. The palms of your hands are slightly cupped over each eye, and your fingers are partly resting on your forehead.
“Notice the blackness in front of you and breathe slowly until the blackness becomes velvety. Palm for one minute or more at a time and do it often, so your eyes remain as relaxed as possible.”
