Is work a pain in the neck?

Do you suffer from back, neck arm or shoulder pain at work? Do you employ staff in the Channel Islands? Experienced local chiropractors Grant and Penny Henderson from the Active Chiropractic Clinic will explain how you can help yourself and your staff.  Let them show you how you can be happier at work and reduce the distress, discomfort and cost of muscular and joint pain.

Muscle and joint pain at work is a modern epidemic. A recent study of millions of workers in Europe found that 49% of lost time at work is caused by muscle and skeletal disorders (MSDs). Several studies in Europe and America have shown that employers who invest in providing simple postural training combined with good ergonomic chairs can significantly reduce MSDs in the workplace. Such investments can improve comfort, performance and wellbeing and reduce pain, distress and absenteeism; leading to a happier healthier workforce and a saving for employers of many thousands of pounds.

•    Description of common postural issues
•    Simple tips to improve comfort at work
•    Examples of good and bad workstations
•    Demonstration of innovative ergonomic products
•    One to one advice for individuals and employers
•    Question and answer session

Grant and Penny Henderson, who run Active Chiropractic and Active Ergonomics, have over 30 years clinical experience. Grant is also a qualified workstation assessor, with a profound understanding of posture and office ergonomics.
