World WellBeing Week will see lots of events and activities all over the world.

Here are some of the events being held in Jersey.

Monday, 26th June – Enable Voice Get Together – Kingsman Executive Office Suites, 7 Castle Street, St Helier – 2.00 pm – 3.00 pm and 3.00pm – 4.00pm

Do you have experience of living with a disability or long-term condition? Do you care for a family member or friend with a disability?

Speaking to people living with, and affected by disability the thing that comes up time and time again is being able to do the things others can do, to be able to access the same opportunities, to be listened to and be included.

Enable Jersey understand the value of listening to people with lived experience of disability and how this can contribute to meaningful change in Jersey and further afield.

Enable Voice is a space, sometimes physical and at other times virtual, which is shared by people with first-hand experience of living with a disability or life-long condition, their family, friends and carers. They want to bring together the views and voices of those with experience to ensure that they are not only listened to but truly heard. By bringing together the voices of many, they hope to strengthen them and try to ensure that they are elevated into an arena where change can be made.
